Tate Fogleman steals the win at Talladega

    As any race at Talladega Superspeedway can produce a wild card winner just as even as a multi-time winner of the track can get wrecked out of the race. The NASCAR Truck Series "Chevrolet Silverado" 250 was more than a wild card race.

Stage 1 went without a caution flag flying and was won by Ben Rhodes. The second stage was had just a mere caution for a single truck spin on lap 29, but was fairly low key like the 1st stage. Sheldon Creed would beat Johnny Sauter to the line for the extra playoff point. 

The final stage had quite the number of incidents, one of them involving about 20 trucks, creating NASCAR overtime for the race. Coming to the checkered flag, while some more drivers wrecked in turn 4, John Hunter Nemechek ducked low to pass the No. 12 of Tate Folgerman, but gets turned around before the line, and fell back to finish 4th. Folgerman and Tyler Hill got together and slid across the start/finish line and hit the inside retaining wall towards turn 1.

Stage 1 winner was Ben Rhodes.

Stage 2 winner was Sheldon Creed.
