Austin Hill is moving on up, as it was announced today, that he would be joining Richard Childress Racing's Xfinity Series lineup for 2022. It was also stated that current RCR driver Myatt Snider will not return to the team next season.

Austin Hill has been racing full-time in the NASCAR Truck Series since 2018 with Hattori Racing Enterprises, picking up 8 career wins in the last 3 seasons. Hattori Racing announced a few weeks back, that Hill would not return to the team next year, and that another driver for the No. 16 Toyota Tundra will be unveiled on a later date.

So Austin Hill will be joining the defending Truck Series champion, Sheldon Creed in the RCR Xfinity stable for 2022. Hill's car number and sponsorship will be released upon a later date.
