Earlier today (9/15/21) NASCAR released the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series race schedule.
Major changes to the NASCAR Cup Series schedule include the Clash being held at the LA Coliseum, Auto Club Speedway returning after its recent reconfiguration, Circuit of the Americas being moved to a March 27th date, Bristol Dirt being moved to Easter night, World Wide Technology Raceway gaining a Cup Series date in June, Pocono Raceway losing it’s second date, Richmond Raceway’s second date leaving playoffs and Kansas Speedway swapping with it to become the 2nd playoff race.
There are definitely some major changes to the Cup Series being presented through this new schedule, though thankfully it appears most of them are not detrimental to the sport.
