It was announced this afternoon (8/24/21) that the bright colors of Funfetti with adorn the JTG Daugherty No. 47 Camaro this weekend, as the NASCAR Cup Series heads to Daytona International Speedway for the last race of the regular season.
Funfetti is a copyrighted brand owned by Pillsbury Baking that specializes in cakes, frostings, brownies, pancakes and more, all with a helping of rainbow sprinkles that resemble confetti. This confetti look throughout the baked goods are what Pillsbury calls “Funfetti”. This line of baked goods is more than 30 years old, becoming a household name for all sorts of celebrations. With any luck the No. 47 team will have a chance to celebrate with funfetti baked goods in victory lane this Saturday night!
As Ricky Stenhouse Jr. currently sits 173 points behind the cutoff line for the Cup Series playoffs, with only one race left in the regular season, Stenhouse is in a must win scenario. Luckily the mighty pairing of of Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and JTG Daugherty Racing exists, and with both parties specializing in superspeedway racing, a win might be slim, but is most definitely possible.
To catch this colorful paint scheme hit the track tune into to the “Coca-Cola Zero Sugar” 400 under the lights at Daytona International Speedway. Race coverage will begin at 7:00 PM ET, and will be aired live on NBC.
