It was announced this morning that IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship and IndyCar driver Sage Karam will make his first NASCAR Xfinity start in Jordan Anderson's No. 31 Chevy Camaro at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course. Karam will join as one the of five different drivers to have driven for Jordan Anderson Racing in the 2021 season: Kaz Grala, Tyler Reddick, Josh Berry, and owner/driver Jordan Anderson.
Sage Karam said in a press briefing, "It has always been a dream of mine to compete at this level with some of the world's best stock car drivers. My goal is to learn as much as possible and soak in this experience. It's a welcomed challenge for me, and I'm looking forward to building strong relationships with the talented people at Jordan Anderson Racing."
Karam made three starts at the Indianapolis Road Course with IndyCar during the 2020 season, and also has two top-ten finishes within eight starts in the Indianapolis 500 throughout his career.

With Sage's extensive experience in road course and open-wheel racing, along with finishing 7th in this year's Indianapolis 500, we knew that the road course at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway would be a special place for him to make his NASCAR debut with support from Montage Mountain Resorts and so many other great partners.
