Yesterday afternoon (5/17/21) the entry list for the NASCAR Xfinity Series “Pit Boss” 250 at Circuit of the Americas was released, and one name is noticing present. That name is Boris Said.

Boris Said is a well known race car driver, who made his first NASCAR start in 1995, racing in the NASCAR Truck Series. While Said made starts at many different tracks, throughout his career he was often chosen to race at road courses such as Watkins Glen, and Sonoma Raceway, due to his clear road racing expertise. In the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Said scored one victory, seven Top 5s, and nine Top 10s.

Boris Said’s most recent NASCAR Xfinity Series start came in 2015 driving the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 54 Toyota, but that’s about to change. This weekend Boris Said has been tapped to drive the Motorsports Business Management (MGM Motorsports) No. 13 Toyota Supra in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, as NASCAR heads to it’s inaugural weekend at Circuit of the Americas (COTA).

With any luck, Said’s road racing experience, and experience at Circuit of the America’s should give the No. 13 team a leg up this weekend.

You can catch Boris Said make his return this weekend on Saturday, May 22nd, during the “Pit Boss” 250 at Circuit of the Americas. Race coverage will begin at 4:00 PM ET, and will be aired live on FOX Sports 1.
