Two Truck Series drivers to honor Michael Waltrip at Darlington

Bill McAnally Racing

Over the past week, there have been two NASCAR Truck Series teams to announce their Darlington throwback schemes, and both of them, are honoring Michael Waltrip.

Waltrip is a colorfully decorated NASCAR veteran, with four NASCAR Cup Series wins, and also holds NASCAR’s longest winless streak, at 462 races.

Derek Kraus, who drives the No. 19 Toyota Tundra for Bill McAnally Racing, will recreate Waltrip's 2003 Napa Auto Parts paint scheme, the one he ran to win his 2nd Daytona 500. At the time, Waltrip drove for Dale Earnhardt Inc., in the No. 15.

On Point Motorsports also announced on April 22nd, that driver Danny Bohn will be running a yellow and green throwback scheme at Darlington Raceway this May, in homage to Michael Waltrip’s Country Time paint scheme spanning the 1989-1990 season. (See Images Below)
