Pre-Race Predictions: Las Vegas

    The 2021 Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube will take place this Sunday, March 7th at 3:30 PM EST, live on FOX. 

The race held in 2020 was won by Joey Logano, in none other than, the No. 22 Pennzoil Ford. Chase Elliott won both the 1st and 2nd stage of the race. We have had an a few unexpected winners so far this season, so we could have another one anytime now.

Drivers to watch for the win:

• Joey Logano [No. 22 Ford / Team Penske] A 2-time winner here at Las Vegas, he could be a good pick to win another race here this weekend.
• Kevin Harvick [No. 4 Ford / Stewart-Haas Racing] Harvick is also a 2-time winner at Las Vegas, and this weekend is starting in the pole position, so don't count him out.
• Martin Truex, Jr. [No. 19 Toyota / Joe Gibbs Racing] A 2-time winner here himself, could make it a third victory this weekend. He is the only driver, in the Cup Series, to win here in a Toyota.
• Brad Keselowski [No. 2 Ford / Team Penske] He is the only current driver, in the NASCAR Cup Series, to have 3 wins at Las Vegas. Keselowski could tie himself with the driver who has the most victories at Las Vegas of all-time, Jimmie Johnson, if he wins this weekend.

Drivers who will have a good run at Las Vegas, and possibly the winner:

• Matt DiBenedetto [No. 21 Ford / Wood Brothers Racing] After finishing 2nd to Logano in the 2020 Spring race, he could have a good chance to prove himself here. DiBenedetto will want to do well, because as of yet, he still doesn't have a Cup seat for 2022.
• Tyler Reddick [No. 8 Chevrolet / Richard Childress Racing] Reddick has two wins here, one in the Truck Series, and another in the Xfinity Series. So that isn't a problem. As long as he doesn't crash like he did in the 2020 fall race, he'll be just fine.
• Chase Briscoe [No. 14 Ford / Stewart-Haas Racing] 2021 the Cup Series Rookie, has won here in the past two Xfinity Series races here. Because of those wins, there is really no reason to doubt if he will have a good run here this weekend. We’ll have to see though, anything can happen!
