The logistics payment company will sponsor the No. 24 team for two races in 2023, making their debut at Bristol Motor Speedway in September and at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in October, the team announced.
This new sponsorship has been announced amid a winning year for Byron. Currently half way through the 2023 season, the No. 24 team has won three times, and the driver currently leads the playoff points standings.
Tied for the most wins in the series this season, Byron last brought the No. 24 to victory lane at Darlington Raceway where sponsor Axalta sported a throwback paint scheme. Although nearly two whole months have passed without a William Byron win, the driver has finished within the top-15 all of the five races since Darlington, and in the top-10 three of the five races since his win a Darlington this spring.
Relay Payments will join the team at tracks which Byron has shown winning speed.
The last time the No. 24 visited Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the team left victorious after starting on the outside pole and leading 65% of the race. Although Byron did has never won at Bristol Motor Speedway, his last two races at the concrete configuration the No. 24 car finished third.
The new paint scheme for Relay (seen above) features a grayscale look, with only the door number and part of the sponsor logo representing the a green color on the car.
