NASCAR releases the 2023 Craftsman Truck Series schedule

NASCAR.com
NASCAR has officially unveiled the 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule. Some old, regular races, and some new, or returning tracks will make up the 2023 racing season for the NASCAR Truck Series drivers.

“As we prepare to celebrate our 75th anniversary season, we are committed to delivering a schedule that acknowledges the deep history and tradition of our sport while establishing a bold future that brings the best racing in the world to new markets and new fans,” said Ben Kennedy, NASCAR Senior Vice President of Racing Development and Strategy. “The 2023 schedules are a product of continued collaboration across our industry and partners. We are incredibly proud of what our sport will have to offer fans next season, and excited to celebrate this milestone season with the most diverse compilation of tracks in motorsports.”

Some highlights to the 2023 NASCAR Truck Series schedule include:

  • The NASCAR Truck Series will kick off NASCAR's return to North Wilkesboro Speedway, as they will race there on Saturday, May 20th: before the NASCAR Cup Series' annual "All-Star Race" will be ran on the historic 0.625-mile track.
  • NASCAR will return to the Milwaukee Mile in Wisconsin, the date for the NASCAR Truck Series being the second race into the playoffs (Sunday, August 27th).
  • Pheonix Raceway will host the NASCAR Championship weekend for the 4th consecutive year, and the NASCAR Truck Series will start things off on Friday, November 3rd.

Of course, not all NASCAR fans will always agree with the race schedule season to season. However, this upcoming year looks to be pretty impressive for the different tracks and the type of week-to-week racing it will create for the drivers.
