Anthony Alfredo wiped out his NASCAR Xfinity Series competition to score his first-ever pole award in the series, taking the fastest qualifying lap at Portland International Raceway. The final round of qualifying was cancelled due to weather, but all the drivers had taken a lap during the first rounds of qualifying. Taking Our Motorsports to their first pole award as well, Alfredo's No. 23 Dude Wipes Chevrolet Camaro took a fast circuit of 76.071 seconds (93.229 MPH) on the road course circuit located in Portland, Oregon. Rookie Austin Hill placed his No. 21 Chevrolet Camaro on the front row beside Alfredo.
