Two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series champion Tyler Reddick has picked up his first series win since 2019, scoring the victory over fellow NASCAR Cup Series regular William Byron. The 2022 "SRS Distribution" 250 on Saturday, May 21st became Reddick's 10th victory in the series.

Polesitter Noah Gragson, scored the bonus stage points from the first Stage break, and placed top-5 in the second. Unfortunately, would be taken out of the race from an overly aggressive move from competitor Ty Gibbs, who got lose after an attempted swipe to spin Tyler Reddick.

JR Motorsports' Josh Berry would win the second stage, and the team appeared to be capable of winning four-straight races. Byron made his first series start of the season with the organization at Texas. Sam Mayer also had a valiant run toward the leaders in the end, only to come up with a 3rd-place finish.

Reddick may gain some momentum from this visit to victory lane, momentum to carry into the next few NASCAR Cup Series races. In a total of 87 starts in the top stock car racing division, the young driver has yet to reach victory lane despite 5 runner-up efforts and more than 300-laps led.
