After a dominate race for Stewart Friesen, he brought his No. 52 Toyota Tundra to win the 2022 "Speedy Cash" 220 at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday, May 20th. His 60-laps led yesterday evening more than doubled his year-long total laps led and were enough to land his first win in the last 53 races and to secure his place in the 2022 Playoffs.

John Hunter Nemechek, who had the fastest truck during qualifying and won the pole award, actually had to start the race at the tail end of the field due to unapproved adjustments. However, Nemechek's truck marched through the field into the top-10 in virtually no time at all.

Ryan Preece, making yet his 4th series start of the season in the No. 17 Ford F-150 for David Gilliland Racing, won both of the first-two Stages, gaining a bunch of points. Despite some late-race contact with Christain Eckes, Preece still finished 3rd with the slight bit of damage.

Christain Eckes also had a great evening, led to the white flag until unfortunately getting past for the win by Friesen in the final lap. Eckes would be scored at the line in 2nd.
