Chase Elliott will start on the pole of Saturday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway, claiming his first Busch Pole Award for the 2022 Season, and first since the 2020 Championship race.
The No. 9 machine turned a fast lap of 19.694 seconds (96.151 MPH), which was a bit faster than Aric Almirola's lap of 19.799 seconds (95.641 MPH).

The "Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief" 400 at Martinsville Speedway will take place on Saturday, April 9th. Live television coverage will begin at 7:30 PM EST on FOX Sports 1.
