Chase Elliott joins Spire Motorsports for 2022 Truck Series race at Bristol Dirt: Sponsorship from HendrickCars.com

    The NASCAR Truck Series is back on track this weekend, for their 5th race of the 2022 Season. Spire Motorsports has announced that NASCAR Cup Series champion Chase Elliott, will pilot the No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday, April 16th.

Currently driving the No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro for Hendrick Motorsports in the NASCAR Cup Series, Elliott will attempt to win his 4th NASCAR Truck Series race, in just under 20 total starts in that series. He last scored a victory behind the wheel of a stock truck back in 2020, where he scored 3rd series win at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

HendrickCars.com will provide funding for Elliott's ride with Spire Motorsports this weekend, as they did twice before for William Bryon and Alex Bowman.

The 2022 "Pinty's Truck Race on Dirt" at Bristol Motor Speedway will take place on Saturday, April 16th. Live television coverage will begin at 8:00 PM EST on FOX Sports 1.
