Thursday morning (3/17/22) David Gilliland Racing (DGR) revealed a new paint scheme for the driver of the No. 1 Ford F-150, Hailie Deegan. A young Deegan will pilot a blue, white and black Wastequip livery during this weekend's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Hailie Deegan who joined the Camping World Truck Series in 2020, making her series debut at Kansas, preparing for a full-time stint in the (then) upcoming 2021 season, behind the wheel of DGR's No. 1 Ford F-150. Though Deegan's rookie season was plagued with adversity and difficulties due to conditions of an ongoing pandemic, the rookie driver put together some fairly decent statistics, and a notebook of material to work from.
Wastequip, a company founded in 1988 in Charlotte, North Carolina is a manufacturer of waste handling equipment. Wastequip provides large metal containers such as dumpsters for waste storage, selling these products to their customers. The Charlotte, North Carolina based company now teams up with Deegan and the Mooresville, Carolina based David Gilliland Racing, for what could be significant brand exposure.
Be sure to catch this weekend’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at the newly reconfigured Atlanta Motor Speedway, this Saturday, March 19th, 2022. The race will be aired live on FOX Sports 1, and live coverage will begin at 2:30 PM ET.
