LGBcoin, a new cryptocurrency company based off of the popular "Let's Go Brandon" chant, is much like other sponsors that Brandon Brown's No. 68 have hosted before, like Baby Doge Coin and Sent Token. One major difference between those cryptocurrency sponsorship and the new sponsorship from LGBcoin is that LGBcoin is somewhat associated with the politically charged "Let's Go Brandon" catchphrase.

For obvious reasons, the NBC camera crews were only trying to save their broadcast from political affiliation and inappropriate language, which could get them in serious trouble, but most viewers picked up on the truth of the matter. The "Let's Go Brandon" chant spread like wildfire through the means of social media, turning innocent bystander, Brandon Brown into a unlikely political figure. Such affiliation was not beneficial for Brown's racing career.
The team whom had already faced plenty of hardship found themselves with even worse struggles as partners were no longer interested in joining forces with the No. 68 team. Brown who was not responsible for the "Let's Go Brandon" catch phrase attempted multiple times to denounce the chant, but to no avail. LGBcoin, known as one of the many 'meme coins' circulating the cryptocurrency world, found success due to the viral chant and made a sponsorship offer for Brandonbilt Motorsports.
As it has been a standard in the sport for much of it's existence, NASCAR must approve all sponsorships and paint schemes before they can hit the track in any manner. With the announcement of their LGBcoin sponsorship, Brandonbilt Motorsports claimed to had received approval from the NASCAR sanctioning body concerning this new sponsorship, NASCAR claims that statement was untrue. Brandonbilt Motorsports however still believes they were approved, as team employees such as Collin Fern posted about the subject:

The process of receiving approval can take up to multiple weeks, which apparently Brandonbilt Motorsports have not yet fulfilled. The political stress around this sponsorship situation may have only further put stress on the approval process, if NASCAR's claims are true. NASCAR can reject any sponsorship or paint scheme they please, although the fact that they claim to have not yet done that, likely means that the sanctioning body is unsure. We can expect to hear from NASCAR in the following days to weeks as they either approve this sponsorship or reject it. Even if NASCAR did previously approve the sponsorship, and have not revoked their approval as some suggest, the sanctioning body will still likely make a new approval or rejection. Unfortunately for Brandonbilt Motorsports rejection of this sponsorship could be detrimental, as sponsorship struggles from their involuntary political affiliation are existent.
