Wood Brothers Racing releases new 2022 Ford Motorcraft paint scheme for Harrison Burton

    As NASCAR is entering into a new era with the Gen 7 car, so does Wood Brothers Racing. For many years, the classic red and white No. 21 Ford Motorcraft paint scheme has not changed, but in 2022 it will take on a new look.

The new number placement for the NASCAR Cup Series is on what used to be called the contingency panel, but I am not sure if they have changed the name of it for the Next Gen car. With the number slid so far up the front, it appears to be warped with the contour of the imitation air vent on the side of the car, which is a Ford Mustang trademark. 

It is worth noting that we do not see a Menard's logo on this paint scheme, so more than likely Mid-West home improvement retailer will not be returning to sponsor WBR in 2022.

Little bit of old mixed with a little bit of new. We couldn’t get crazy, but we did have to make a few tweaks.
