The BEST NASCAR Halloween paint schemes of all-time

    For the first time in more than 10 years, the NASCAR Cup Series will race on the holiday of Halloween. Today Stock Car Media is going to take a look back at the best NASCAR Halloween paint scheme of all-time:


1. Kyle Petty No. 42 - "Coors Light Pumpkin" Pontiac - 1995

(nascarman on Twitter) As the NASCAR Cup Series headed to Phoenix in the Fall of 1995 Kyle Petty brought this spiced up No. 42 paint scheme to the track. The hood of the car was originally planned to feature a Coors Light promotional image featuring Casandra Peterson, an American actress best known for portraying Elvira. A last minute change allowed a jack o'lantern drawn by Petty's daughter to be displayed on the hood.

2. Tony Stewart No. 20 - "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown"/ The Home Depot Pontiac - 2002

(Credit: Robert LeSieur) In 2002 The Home Depot and Charles Schultz's Peanuts teamed up to promote the classic film "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" on the hood of Tony Stewart's No. 20 Pontiac Grand Prix.

3. Kyle Busch No. 18 - "M&M's Halloween" Toyota - 2015

(Credit: Kevin D. Liles-USA TODAY Sports) In 2015 during the round-of-twelve NASCAR Cup Series Playoff races at Talladega Superspeedway and Kansas Speedway the popular Halloween candy M&M's outfitted Kyle Busch's No. 18 Toyota Camry with some festive colors to kick off the holiday.

4. Corey LaJoie No. 32 - "Mystery Machine" CorvetteParts.net Ford - 2019

(Credit: Jared C. Tilton/Getty Images) As the NASCAR Cup Series headed to Martinsville Speedway in 2019, GoFas Racing painted up Corey LaJoie's No. 32 Ford Mustang up with popular cartoon characters "Scooby-Doo" and "Shaggy" in spirit of the Halloween weekend.

5. Kenny Schrader - "M&M's Lightning Halloween" Pontiac - 2001

(Credit: Lets Go Racing Diecast and Collectibles) In the fall of 2001 Ken Schrader and the No. 36 team teamed up with their primary sponsor M&M's to create a spooky paint scheme for the season.


6. Kyle Busch - Snickers "Jack o' Lantern" Toyota - 2016

(Credit: Getty Images) As the NASCAR Cup Series headed to the "Hellman's" 500 at Talladega Superspeedway, Kyle Busch and the No. 18 crew arrived with a Snickers paint scheme with displayed a jack o' lantern on the hood, and "Happy Halloween" on the deck-lid. This paint scheme was not soon forgotten.

7. Bobby Labonte - Interstate Batteries "Frankenstein" Pontiac - 2000

(Credit: FOX Sports) For the fall race at Charlotte Motor Speedway Bobby Labonte and the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 18 team paired up with Interstate Batteries and Universal Studios' "Monsters" to bring a nightmare fueled Frankenstein Grand Prix to the iconic oval.

8. Dale Jarrett - UPS "Frankenstein" Ford - 2004

(Credit: Motorsport Images) Sticking with the idea of Frankenstein, Dale Jarrett headed to the second race Atlanta Motor Speedway of the 2004 Nextel Cup Series season with a monstrosity of a paint scheme, receiving sponsorship from UPS on his No. 88 Robert Yates Racing entry.

9. Kyle Busch - Skittles "Zombie" Toyota - 2020

Rodriguez) For the Fall Texas race of 2020, Kyle Busch and popular Halloween candy, Skittles teamed up to win the NASCAR Cup Series "Autotrader EchoPark Automotive" 500, after a three-day rain delay. This spooky grey paint scheme definitely stood out among the rest of the field.
