Gaunt Brothers Racing is set to compete in the "YellaWood" 500, with Landon Cassill behind the wheel of the No. 96 Toyota Camry for the second time this season.
Landon Cassill, who has ran 27 of the current 28 NASCAR Xfinity Series races in 2021 for JD Motorsports, will make his second start in the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season with Gaunt Brothers Racing at Talladega. Cassill has a career best Cup finish of 4th at Talladega back in 2014, but no Top-10 finishes since then.
After missing out on competing for a large part of the 2021 Cup Series season, due to the lack of sponsorship, Gaunt Brothers Racing will make their 7th start of the season. Carnomaly, the world’s leading automotive crypto company with an eye on revolutionizing the future of the automotive industry, will serve as the primary sponsor for Cassill for a second race this season. They made their NASCAR Cup Series debut on a car at Daytona International Speedway in the "Coke Zero Sugar" 400 in August.
