Erik Jones brings new United States Air Force Paint Special Warfare scheme to Talladega

    It was recently announce that Erik Jones, driver of the iconic Richard Petty Motorsports No. 43, will bring a brand new United States Air Force paint scheme to the NASCAR Cup Series "YellaWood" 500 this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway.


This paint scheme features the United States Air Force Special Warfare, which operates in hostile, denied, and politically sensitive areas to diffuse tension. The individuals who are a part of the United States Air Force Special Warfare are some of the country's most specially trained soldiers.





The United States Air Force first entered NASCAR as a sponsor for Wood Brothers Racing and the No. 21 Ford back in 2001. Throughout for the past 13 years the United States Air Force has sponsored Richard Petty Motorsports in some shape or form, with drivers like Reed Sorenson, Aric Almirola, Darrell Wallace Jr., and now Erik Jones.


Be sure to catch this paint scheme hit the track this weekend during the NASCAR Cup Series "YellaWood" 500 at Talladega Superspeedway, which will take place on October 3rd, 2021. Race coverage will begin at 2:00 PM ET, and will be aired live on NBC.
