Beard Motorsports announced yesterday (9/7/21) that they will once again attempt to qualify their No. 62 Chevrolet Camaro for the 2022 “Daytona” 500. The now well known team, attempted to qualify for the 2021 “Daytona” 500 earlier this year with Xfinity Series driver Noah Gragson, but fell short by only a few positions in Duel No. 2.
With this announcement, Beard Motorsports released a rendering of the paint scheme they plan on running on the Next Gen car. Notice that this Beard Motorsports No. 62 paint scheme includes the door number centered higher up under the A-Pillar, as well above the right side window the name of their owner, “Mark Beard Sr.” who passed away earlier this year.
A driver for the No. 62 has yet to be announced, and most likely will be unveiled at a later date.
