It was announced, mere moments ago, that Harrison’s Workwear the South Eastern United States Largest dealers of Carhartt and Ariat products will sponsor the JR Motorsports No. 8 Camaro of Josh Berry for select races during the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series season.
With Josh Berry coming off of a very successful part time season in the Xfinity Series, recent news of his full time return to JR Motorsports next season left a glaring question: Where will Berry find sponsorship? In recent days that question has begun to be answered, as Tire Pros announced their return, and now Harrison’s Workwear joins the team. This season we saw many races where Berry was sponsored by the team’s manufacturer, Chevrolet, and other times nobody. More than likely, and with any luck, Josh Berry’s extraordinary win at Martinsville Speedway has attracted sponsors, and brought attention to the driver’s racing talent.
Harrison’s Workwear, surprisingly, is no stranger to the racing community. Harrison’s opened in November of 1999 as a single store selling boots and shoes for the working class. Less than 5 years later the company began their endeavor in sponsoring stock car racing sponsoring Randy Gentry in the USAR Pro Cup Series (Southern Division) in 2004. In 2016 they made their way into the NASCAR world sponsoring Jeremy Clements in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. On 2 other occasions Harrison’s sponsored Bubba Pollard in the ARCA Midwest Tour. Since 2016 Harrison’s Wokrwear has not returned to any of NASCAR’s 3 National Series’ until now.
Dates for the company’s primary sponsorship with the No. 8 team have not yet been announced, though as the 2022 season approaches, we expect to hear more about this partnership. Follow along as Stock Car Media will keep you updated on this topic.
