Richard Petty Motorsports announced earlier today that Scag Power Equipment will sponsor the No. 43 of Erik Jones as the NASCAR Cup Series heads to Road America.
Scag Power Equipment is a company that manufactures commercial machines such as; a variety of lawn mowers, leaf blowers, truck loaders, spreading machines and more. Native to Mayville Wisconsin, Scag Power Equipment opened it’s doors in 1983 and have since gained a reputation for their ease of use, durability, and performance and quality, making them one of the world’s largest independent manufacturer of such products.
Earlier this year, Scag Power Equipment became the official mower of Victory Junction, a camp committed to enriching the lives of children who experience chronic medical conditions and serious illness. The camp was originally opened in honor of Richard Petty’s grandson, Adam Petty, who had hopes of creating such an experience for ill children, but unfortunately passed away in a racing accident in May of 2000.
Catch this paint scheme hit the track this Sunday, July 4th, 2021, during the “Jockey Made in America” 250 presented by Kwik Trip at Road America. Race coverage will begin at 2:30 PM EST, and will be aired live on NBC.
