It was announced Thursday evening (4/15) that Harrison Burton, driver of the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 20 (in the Xfinity Series), and son of past driver and NBC Sports Analyst, Jeff Burton, will make his NASCAR Cup Series debut at Talladega Superspeedway.
Burton, a 4 time winner in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, will drive the above No. 96 Guant Brothers Racing Toyota Camry, and will recieve sponsorship from DEX Imaging, and Hunt Brothers Pizza. As much as this news came as a surprise to many fans, Harrison Burton reported during an Instagram livestream that this was a surprise for him too, saying “I didn’t know much earlier than you guys”.
You can catch this paint scheme, and Harrison Burton hit the track during the upcoming Geico 500 at Talladega Superspeedway, on April 25th. The race will begin at 2:00 PM ET, and will be aired live on FOX.
