Joe Gibbs Racing announced Tuesday morning (2/23/21) that Ty Gibbs, who won last week’s Xfinity race, will run 14 more Xfinity Series races in 2021.
Ty Gibbs is team owner Joe Gibbs’ grandson, Ty has raced in the ARCA Menards Series for a while now, although last Saturday he made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut and won. Now his grandfather is looking to give him more opportunities to race in the series.
The following are the races that Ty Gibbs will drive the No. 54 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series:
March 13th - Phoenix Raceway
April 9th - Martinsville Speedway
May 8th - Darlington Raceway
May 15th- Dover International Speedway
May 29th - Charlotte Motor Speedway
June 5th -Mid-Ohio
June 27th - Pocono Raceway
July 3th - Road America
August 7th -Watkins Glen International
August 14th -Indianapolis Road Course
August 21st - Michigan International Speedway
September 11th - Richmond Raceway
October 9th - Charlotte Roval
October 23rd - Kansas Speedway
