Garrett Smithley, will attempt to enter the 2021 Daytona 500 driving the newly revamped No. 13 car for MBM Motorsports.
Garrett Smithley will have to race his way into “The Great American Race”, but is optimistic of his chances. Smithley told staff at MBM Motorsports “It’s going to be a tall order to race our way in, but I’ve had a lot of success on Super-speedways in the past, so I’m cautiously optimistic that we can get it done.”
The No. 13 car will be sponsored by Trophy Tractor Inc. for the Daytona 500. Trophy Tractor Inc. is a company based out of Grand Prairie Texas, and supplies different types of construction equipment to all sorts of contractors, mines, and quarries.
Smithley has also raced for Rick Ware Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series, and will continue to do so on a part time schedule in 2021.
