Another Joe Gibbs Racing driver is leaving the organization and Toyota Racing Development group for a Chevrolet team in 2023, as Brandon Jones will go pilot the No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro for JR Motorsports next season.

The 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season will be Brandon Jones 8th full-time year on the circuit, meaning that he is not a new kid on the block. With 5 series wins to date, and over 200 starts, Jones will be once again chasing a championship at the tier below the top stock car racing series in the nation. While he has yet to reach the Championship 4, the past three-seasons have shown him rank 6th (2019), 7th (2020), and 7th (2021) respectively in the points standings.

No sponsorship or crew chief have been announced at this time. However, that news could be released in the very near future.
