Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing |
Fastenal, a wholesale distributor of industrial construction supplies was founded in 1967, long before the company had any interest in NASCAR sponsorship. For the past ten years, Fastenal has partnered with Jack Roush and his race team to help spread the word about the supply company, while simultaneously funding a competitive race team.
Fastenal first made its appearance as a sponsor during the 2011 NASCAR race season, supporting Carl Edwards in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, as the driver piloted the No. 60. Since then, the company has sponsored the likes of Matt Kenseth, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and now Chris Buescher and Brad Keselowski. This will also mark the first new sponsor for Brad Keselowski since his recent addition to the team.
The Fastenal Company has been a crucial sponsor of Chris Buescher since his NASCAR Nationwide Series rookie season in 2014. Aside from continuing their connection with Buescher, the company will now expand their partnership RFK Racing to sponsor the car of partial team owner Brad Keselowski, as he embarks on his first season driving for the organization.
These new paint schemes do have a slightly different look than the ones which have made appearances in past years. Past paint schemes featured a rather simple blue and white design to adorn the Fastenal logo. These new paint schemes, as can be seen above are black and blue featuring some intricate graphics, which are common among the two cars.
No races or dates that these paint schemes will hit the track have been specified, but it is expected that these new paint schemes will see the light of day on several events throughout the 2022 season.
2022 looks good on you, @FastenalCompany!
