Ryan Blaney gets new Advance Auto Parts paint scheme for Atlanta

     It was announced this morning (7/8/21) that Ryan Blaney will bring a brand new Advance Auto Parts paint scheme for this weekend’s race at Atalanta Motor Speedway. This paint scheme prominently featuring the colors black and yellow is meant to closely resemble Rusty Wallace’s Miller Beer paint scheme which was run between the years 1990 and 1996 (see image below).

As it was previously announced this week, this weekend’s races at Atlanta Motor Speedway will mark the end of an era. Atlanta Motor Speedway will be repaving and reconfiguring the track increase banking from 24 degrees to 28 degrees, which owners of the track Speedway Motorsports hopes will bring closer racing. One more time the black and yellow colors of Rusty Wallace will make laps around Atlanta Motor Speedway’s current configuration, as Ryan Blaney hopes to make it 2 for 2 by winning again at Atlanta. 

This paint scheme also features Advance Auto Parts’ same day shipping, which was revealed in an advertisement from Auto Parts with drivers Ryan Blaney and Rusty Wallace (see below)

You can catch this paint scheme hit the track this Sunday, July 11th 2021 during the “Quaker State” 400 presented by Walmart. Race coverage will begin at 3:30 PM ET, and will be aired live on NBCSN.
