Elliott on pole: Starting lineup for O’Rielly Auto Parts 253 at the Daytona Road Course

    Chase Elliott will start where he left off in 2020 at the Daytona Road Course, in 1st place. Elliott will start in the pole position after the drawing this morning, and will share the front row with 2021 Daytona 500 champion, Michael McDowell.

The starting positions were determined by: a driver’s finish in the last race (25%), the owner’s finish in the last race (25%), 2021 owner points (35%), and the driver’s fastest lap ranking in the previous race (15%).
