This morning (2/18/21) Richard Childress Racing released renders of a brand new Dow Mobility Science paint scheme for the No. 3 of Austin Dillon. This paint scheme will be driven this Sunday at the Daytona Road Course.
Dow has showcased its Mobility Science brand on the No. 3 car before, but this year the paint scheme will look significantly different. This year the Dow Mobility Science paint scheme will feature a the colors red, grey, and white, instead of the traditional red and black that has been seen in years past. Another major difference is that instead of the red swoop that was seen on past paint schemes, this year’s paint scheme will have two red diagonal stripes.
Dow is a chemical manufacturer that has long sponsored Richard Childress Racing and the No. 3. Their brand Mobility Science is a program put together to help supply Dow products, such as polyolefin, polyurethane, acrylic, specialty chemical and silicone technologies for electric vehicles to the transportation industry. Through this program Dow hopes to assist the transportation industry in innovating sustainably.
